This program assists vulnerable immigrants and refugees through supportive counselling, employment bridging and referral services. Each quarter, the program offers life-skills classes such as support groups, computer classes, and English conversation groups. Participants gain peer support and mentorship experience, improve conversation skills, learn about rights, responsibilities, Canadian culture and more. Support Group ---- CCAP's Share and Learn is an on-going support group that provides immigrant and refugee women at risk of social isolation with an opportunity to make new friends while learning about community resources. The group provides a safe space for healing, learning and growth, with educational, social and recreational activities scheduled on a weekly basis for 12-week terms.
