This program is available all year around and is specifically designated for immigrant and refugee seniors. It helps them to better adapt to their new life in Canada and build basic language and practical life skills through facilitated conversations, computer classes, civic education and fitness classes. Social groups like the Knitting and Reading Clubs help clients form social support networks. The program also offers first language supportive counselling and refers seniors, if needed, to the necessary community resources and services.
