2017 Immigrants of Distinction Awards - Announcing Dignitaries
Immigrant Services Calgary (ISC) is pleased to announce the names of federal, provincial and municipal dignitaries who will be attending the Immigrants of Distinction Awards gala.
The gala, which will be held on March 10th, 2017 at the Westin Calgary, celebrates the outstanding achievements and contributions of immigrants to Calgary in the categories of Achievement Under 35; Arts and Culture; Community Service; Entrepreneurship and Innovation; Lifetime Achievement; Science, Technology, Engineering and Math; Organizational Diversity and Youth Scholarships. This year’s Immigrants of Distinction Awards will also serve to celebrate two momentous anniversaries; Immigrant Services Calgary’s 40th anniversary of delivering quality settlement services to Calgary’s newcomers, and Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation. The event is expected to host approximately 600 guests including representation from government, the corporate community, and the voluntary sector.

His Worship, Naheed Nenshi - Mayor of Calgary
Calgary Police Service Chief, Roger Chaffin
The emcees for the event will be Doug Dirks - CBC Calgary, and Jodi Hughes – Global News.
