The Literacy and Volunteering program begins again on April 9

The purpose of this program is to help newcomers develop essential literacy skills and to apply these skills through community volunteering projects. Literacy is the ability to read and write, but it is also much more than that! It teaches newcomers how to engage and interact with the world. Therefore, what students learn in class will be used as the basis for making informed decisions in a real world context.
